BWRG Additional General Meeting. Thurs 6^th March at 6.30 for 7.00 at HL

To be held at Harbour Lights Bar & Kitchen

Doors open at 6.30pm. Refreshments are available from the Bar. BWRG Members and Leaseholders are all welcome. Anyone who lives on Burton Waters is welcome to attend and it is free to join at the door provided they are a leaseholder or renter and the usual conditions apply. Papers are circulated to Members.

The Additional GM is called to address specific issues arising from the recent Service Charge increases and a court judgement which give a clear indication of the nature of much of the recent litigation which had such an impact on the charges and BW.

We will focus on three core issues dividing the meeting into three sessions with an introduction of 10 minutes and 20 minutes discussion of questions on each item. Written questions taken first and remainder from floor. 30 minutes at the end if needed for further questions and discussion

AGENDA (PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE ON ITEM 3)

1.Welcome and Introduction. 5 minutes.

2.How Burton Waters is run. 10 minutes presentation(Peter Selby/Evelyn Freer) and 20 minutes questions.

3.Litigation. 10 minutes presentation( James Hazel has been taken ill and admitted to hospital. We wish him well for a prompt recovery. We will provide a short summary and discussion/questions in the meeting and written answers from James as soon as possible).

4.Service Charges. 10 minutes presentation( Kevin Cooke) and 20 minutes questions.

5.Open Q&A Session. 30 minutes if needed.

Thank you to members who have sent in written questions before the Friday the 21st February deadline. We will collate them and  prepare answers. Many overlap. After the meeting we will collect the questions and answers into a Q&A document to be sent to members and be available on the website.
