Burton Waters Summer Event with Boating, Concert and Disco.

Burton Waters Boat Club, Burton Waters Residents Group, Burton Waters Marina, the David Lloyd Leisure Centre and other businesses and clubs on Burton Waters are working together to create a fun and informative day at Burton Waters. There will be two locations and times for the activities.
On the water, the Landings and the Marina at Burton Waters, from 11.00am to 3.00pm, everyone is welcome and there is no charge for attending. Boating and kayaking with the Burton Waters Boat Club. Trips on Motorboats and some kayaking demonstrations will be available. BW Marina will have modern and traditional boating processions, dinghy racing and possibly paddle boarding. On the Landings, there will be stands for the BW Boat Club and the RNLI. Musicians will provide live entertainment. There will be a Coffee van and Ice Cream van. Restaurants and Bars will be open for food and drinks. At the Marina, there will be Coffee and Ice Cream vans and lots of boating activity to see.
At the David Lloyd Club at Burton Waters from 4.00 there will be children’s entertainment, a BBQ and Bar with a DJ and live music. From 6.00 to about 8.00 the Curious Theatre School and Suzanne Gayle will perform in Concert with singing and dancing from young people and our professional singer. Afterwards there will be a Disco with the DJ until 11.00.
Tickets for refreshments, shows and disco will be available from David Lloyd Reception from Monday 10th June at £10 for adults and £5 for children under 14 years.
