“My Days as a Spy”

Steve joined the RAF as a cadet at RAF College Cranwell in 1966. After graduating as a pilot, he became a flying instructor and, after a tour of duty teaching new pilots, he then flew operationally on the Vulcan bomber as an aircraft captain, display pilot and instructor. He worked as a staff officer in London, Oslo, Stavanger and Mons, Belgium. Perhaps his most interesting job was a posting to Berlin where he undertook military espionage duties. It is this that he will tell you all about.
