DESCRIPTION:BWRG are organising a Private Tour of Lincoln Guildhall on Tuesday the 3rd of December. Tour is at 11.00am. Please meet at the Guildhall Entrance at 10.45.  \nLincoln Guildhall and Stonebow have been the meeting place of the City Council since Medieval times. A Grade-1 listed building; Lincoln Guildhall occupies the building above the Stonebow on Lincoln High Street. The building you see today dates to 1520.  \nHidden in the depths of the building\, you will find an array of treasures\, artefacts and regalia\, including the sword of Richard II\, the Mayor’s Chains of Office and some impressive Royal Charters. \nThe Stonebow limestone arch is an iconic feature of Lincoln’s High Street. The first gateway on this site\, which formed the southern entrance into the city\, was completed in early 211 AD. \nSee more details at      https://www.visitlincoln.com/listing/guildhall-and-stonebow \nIf you are interested in joining the trip please contact  Jasmit Kaur Phull <jkphull@hotmail.com>  \n  \n  \n
